The Federal Ministry of Finance has taken notice of the issue of smuggling of dollars, wheat and urea to Afghanistan. “The Smuggling of Dollars – Also Wheat and Urea was finally Noticed by the Finance Ministry”
According to the details, a meeting of important ministries and federal institutions was helds under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. Representatives from Customs and federal intelligence agencies attended.

According to the declaration issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance. The overall economic situation of the country, prevention of smuggling of wheat, urea and foreign currency were discuss in the meeting. Various measures were consider for strengthening.

All the participants present in the meeting expressed their concern and surprise on the issue of Afghanistan smuggling in the name of wheat. Urea and coal import and said that the deployment of heavy personnel of armed forces. Civil institutions and customs at the border at a cost of more than 50 billion. Smuggling continues despite the fence, participants admitted that monitoring such a long stretch is humanely difficult. But despite the difficulty, smuggling cannot be alloweds.
On this occasion, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that in this matter. Along with our routine duties, we should take coordinated steps keeping in mind the border sensitivities in the national interest.
