Islamabad: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has submitted his reply in the contempt of court case, in which he has expressed regret for his action and said that he did not deliberately violate the order of the Supreme Court. “Contempt of Court Case | Imran Khan did not deliberately violate the order of the Supreme Court”
The former prime minister said in the reply submitted to the Supreme Court that the order of the Supreme Court was not knowingly violated.
I assure you that I was not inform about the court order on the evening of 25th May.
In Imran Khan’s reply, it has been said that the Supreme Court in its order also ask Babar Awan to meet me. But despite the court order, the administration did not facilitate Babar Awan’s meeting with me.
The reply submitted in the court said that the video message given to the workers on May 25 at 6:45 was release on the information of the political workers. During the protest, communication by phone was impossible due to jammers. Imran Khan said that he regretted the step taken unknowingly.
Imran Khan said that the call to go to D Chowk on May 25 was for a peaceful protest against the government’s attitude. No lawyer was ask by me or Tehreek-e-Insaf to join the case pending in the Supreme Court. I am now tol-d that Asad Umar gave instructions regarding the G-Nine Ground.
Contempt of Court Case | Imran Khan did not deliberately violate the order of the Supreme Court
In the reply submitted to the Supreme Court, Imran Khan stated that he denies that the reports of the institutions prove the violation of the court order. The reports of the institutions are against the facts. The agencies’ reports are one-side. Meanwhile, PTI leader Babar Awan also requested to withdraw his name from the contempt of court case. As a lawyer, he has spent 40 years assisting the judiciary.
Babar Awan, in response, maintained that Asad Umar had given verbal instructions on the contact. Assured the Supreme Court on the oral instructions of Asad Umar. He did not intentionally or unintentionally mislead the court. Assisted the court in good faith. According to the court order. It was the government’s responsibility to arrange the meeting of me and Faisal Chaudhary with the PTI leadership. The government did not follow the court order.
The reply further states that on May 26. The court was inform about the government not making arrangements for the meeting. The court declared on May 26 that the long march was over. The Supreme Court declared that in the details of the matter. There is no need to go.
