party leader Nawaz Sharif has called for lists for distribution of tickets in
Punjab and it has been decided to call an important meeting on Friday

While Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has started
preparations for the upcoming general elections,
Imran Khan has mobilized to field strong
candidates in the upcoming general elections.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the assembly members,
ticket holders and party officials of Lahore today. .
Imran Khan will seek opinion from party officials for strong candidates. Meanwhile,
for the general elections, PTI started working on the formation of the
parliamentary board regarding the distribution of tickets in Punjab.
The parliamentary board has been divided into central,
southern and upper Punjab, the meetings of the
three boards will be chaired by Imran Khan himself.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar
presidents and secretaries of the three regions will also be included in the boards.
The meeting of the boards will be held in phases in Zaman Park
next week under the leadership of Imran Khan.
The decision to distribute all the tickets will be taken by the
Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf himself
the members who are successful in the 2018
election will be given priority in the distribution of tickets.
Tickets will also be issued to senior leaders of the party outside the assembly,
while priority will be given to leaders and activists active
in recent protests and marches in distribution of tickets.
On the other hand, the opinion of the central
leadership of PTI and some leaders of Punjab is also
divided regarding the possible dissolution of Punjab Assembly.
The central leadership wants immediate dissolution of the
assembly while some provincial ministers want dissolution in January-February.
