For security and law and order, hundreds of containers were place on the highways of the federal capital Islamabad. These containers remained on the roads for more than 1 month. The security personnel used 2 thousand 442 shells.

A total of 13 thousand 800 security personnel performed duties for security in Islamabad. These personnel included Capital Police, Sindh Police, Rangers and FC jawans.
